Our featured project for March is this dramatic open plan kitchen transformation, designed and installed by Saturn Interiors to completely reimagine the flow of the home.
As part of the renovation, the team removed a dividing wall to open up the kitchen and living space, creating a brighter and more connected environment. This thoughtful change allows the homeowners to enjoy beautiful views from the kitchen straight out into their garden, making the space feel larger, lighter, and more inviting.
The design centres around a striking handleless Zola Soft kitchen in matte black, creating a bold and contemporary aesthetic. Fluted painted black details add depth and texture, bringing subtle visual interest while reinforcing the sophisticated, modern look.
Finished with stunning Dekton Laurent worktops, the surfaces introduce dramatic veining and rich contrast, making them a true statement feature within the room. Paired with Karndean Spring Oak flooring, the warmth of the floor balances the darker cabinetry, resulting in a space that feels both luxurious and comfortable.
The end result is a dark, moody kitchen with a restaurant-inspired feel, cosy and welcoming while still delivering the impact of a high-end contemporary design.
